Audencia
Introduction
Audencia is one of the largest French business schools, with over 6,500 students and 7 campuses across the globe. In 2021 the school publicly announces its strategic action plan until 2025 with all the stakeholders of the organization as actors: students, teacher-researchers, partners…
This strategic plan has 4 axes; Audencia would like our teams to support them on two of them in particular: the recently created Gaïa school and the generalized hybridization of education.
Stakes
The questioning of the educational teams first arises on the potential use of a virtual world for Gaïa: the school of ecological and social transition. Several questions then arise: how to create a universe dedicated to this new school to offer new forms of remote interaction, while offering continuity of life on the physical and real campus under construction? How to use this new tool to serve the mission of the Gaia school? What are the uses that make sense to offer users of this world, other than virtual education?
What we did
komodal offered Audencia support in 3 phases:
- Two upstream brainstorming sessions: one dedicated to uses, the other more related to needs, constraints, selection criteria
- Analysis and benchmark of the right solution for the Gaïa virtual campus
- Organization and management of a pilot project including two POCs, including the measurement and analysis of user feedback

Newen Meta Sky
Introduction
Newen Studios, a subsidiary of the TF1 Group, is a major European player in audiovisual production and distribution.
Newen in association with komodal and Teemew has set itself the task of opening the first immersive European audiovisual marketplace, accessible from the web.
In the form of a zeppelin, made up of meeting rooms and creative spaces, the producer was able to meet his partners from all over the world at the film market during the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. The Newen teams now aim to travel aboard the zeppelin to promote their creations across Europe via their subsidiary Newen Connect and thus offer a place of hybrid and interactive exchange.

Advantage Austria
Introduction
Advantage Austria is the foreign trade promotion organization of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, with more than 70 representative offices around the world. The American representatives asked komodal to organize a learning expedition on the theme of the Metavers.
The Austrian and American offices of the organization are joining forces for this operation in order to offer their member companies an impactful and engaging format on the subject of Metavers. A fleet of VR headsets had to be deployed for the occasion, directly to each participant’s home. Our teams co-created a program that made sense within the Engage platform selected for this operation, which enabled the few Austrian creative industries to take their first step into a virtual world: a major component of the future metaverse.

CASE STUDY
Alstom University
Introduction
Alstom University is the training school of the ALSTOM group, a major player in the transport sector. The corporate university adopts a comprehensive approach to internal learning and organizational development, and in 2021 wanted to focus on virtual worlds for the learning and skills development of its employees.
In July, Alstom University organizes as a pilot project with komodal the “Trainers Days”, an event intended for the population of Alstom University trainers.
Today, the organization is part of the residents of the 4th place, a shared virtual world dedicated to test & learn. She regularly organizes work sessions and training sessions there.
